The Roman Baths
The Roman Baths are situated on the emplacement of the outset of the columned road leading to the Temple of Augustus. They were erected by the Roman Emperor Caracalla and dedicated to Aescu­lapius the God of Health. The baths were composed of a frigidarium a piscina, an apoditerium, a tepidarium, a caldarium and a gymnasium.
